About Artroots Integration

Social/ Emotional Skills Workshops and Groups

Artroots Integration provides innovative social skills groups and workshops for students in K-8. These groups allow students to learn social skills such as cooperation, problem solving, and communication, as well as coping strategies and resources for anxiety management within the classroom. The social skills and anxiety workshops and groups are supported using arts integration (dance, drama, music, and visual arts) as, well as content areas (math, science, social studies, and language arts). The combination of social skills, art, and content allows for an authentic student experience. This experience allows students to take the lessons that they learned in a social skills group setting and apply them to the classroom.

Educator Trainings

Teachers and schools are supported by innovative educator trainings. These trainings focus on diverse learning opportunities that include supporting students with Social/Emotional Learning, Arts Integration, and STEAM. School workshops are tailored specifically to the school’s needs and an information session with teacher and administrators is conducted by Sheila Garth to ensure that students and educators receive the most meaningful, educational, and engaging experience possible
